Strictly Come Dancing continues with week nine and it’s another fan-favourite themed evening with a musical extravaganza on the way. There are just seven couples left in the competition, each one desperate to stay on the BBC One show and show-off their skills to the judges in the studio and at home. Here’s everything you need to know about watching Strictly Come Dancing’s Musical Week.
Last weekend, the tables turned on the leaderboard with CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson leaving with the highest score of the night with his Charleston.
He scored the earliest 40 for a Charleston in the show’s history.
Meanwhile, presenter AJ Odudu, who is thought to be one of the show’s frontrunners, was at the bottom of the leaderboard.
She was awarded just 28 points for her Paso Doble with partner Kai Widdrington.
What time is Strictly on tonight?
Strictly Come Dancing will be back on our screens on Saturday, November 20, at 6.35pm, on BBC One.
The musical episode will last for around one hour and 20 minutes and then return the following night for the results show.
Fans are going to be able to find out who is in the bottom two and who will ultimately leave on Sunday, November 21, at 7.15pm.
But before someone takes their final bow, there are the West End and Broadway numbers to look forward to.
Here are the routines that the celebrity couples will be dancing for week nine:
AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington – Waltz to Edelweiss from The Sound Of Music
Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice – Quickstep to Love Is An Open Door from Frozen
Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin – Couple’s Choice routine to Revolting Children from Matilda
Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkov – Charleston to Good Morning from Singin’ In The Rain
John Whaite and Johannes Radebe – Viennese Waltz to Chim Chim Cher-ee from Mary Poppins
Rhys Stephen and Nancy Xu – Jive to Footloose

Sadly, judge and musical fanatic Craig Revel Horwood will not be on the panel this weekend.
He contracted Covid and so has to self-isolate and miss week nine of the competition.
A Strictly spokesperson said: “Craig Revel Horwood has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines.
“While Craig will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, all being well he will return the following week.”
Last week, it was Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec’s time to go.
The public didn’t get behind them following their Argentine Tango to No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) by Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand.
She was in the bottom two with Tilly but the judges unanimously decided to keep the TV chef in the show.
Strictly Come Dancing will return on Saturday, November 20, at 6.35pm on BBC One.
