GOGGLEBOX is one of the UK's most loved shows and it's currently in its 17th series on Channel 4.
The show has been thrilling audiences since 2013 with the line-up changing all the time.
Who are the Gogglebox 2021 families?
Gogglebox is a reality series that sees a number of families or groups of friends across the UK watch and commentate on the various shows seen on TV that week.
The series has been airing on Channel 4 since 2013.
Season 18 sees a lot of familiar faces return.
Anne and Ken
Anne and Ken joined the long-running show for the 2020 series and just like famous Gogglebox family The Moffatts, they hail from County Durham.
The duo were introduced to millions of viewers at home as "a couple who have been married for 50 years".
They are clearly still very much loved up and in their first appearance on the show, Ken presented Anne with a bouquet of roses – one for every year they’ve been together.
Giles and Mary
With their quirky furniture, including wallpaper that matches an armchair, it's not surprising that Giles and Mary have creative jobs.
Giles is an artist and Mary is best known for being the Spectator's resident agony aunt as well as a self-styled queen of etiquette.
She started out at Tatler magazine and wrote a book called How the Queen Can Make You Happy.
It's believed the pair are close pals of Boris Johnson and his sister Rachel.
Jenny and Lee
This hilarious pair film Gogglebox inside a caravan in Hull but it's not clear what they get up to when they're not sobbing or laughing while watching the telly.
While many think Jenny and Lee are mother and son or husband and wife, the duo are just firm friends.
They met when Jenny was the landlady of the Crown Inn pub in Paull and Lee was a regular customer.
The pair landed their spot on the show when Jenny met two of the show's researchers at Beverley Races Ladies' Day and they reportedly signed her up on the spot.
Ellie and Izzi
Sisters Ellie and Izzi are from Leeds.
The self-confessed couch potatoes enjoy hanging out in Ellie's flat with her dog and eating takeaways.
In more recent episodes we've seen Ellie appearing with her boyfriend, Nat.
They first appeared on the show back in series six.
Amira and Iqra
Amira and Iqra have appeared on the show since series 10.
The two pals from London are known for their infectious giggles which leave us in stitches.
They joined the show with their friend Amani, but now it's just the two of them.
Pete and Sophie
Pete and Sophie are the brother and sister duo that have us chuckling on our sofas every Friday night since they joined Gogglebox in 2018.
Aside from their blossoming careers as TV personalities on Gogglebox, the pair also have day jobs.
While Sophie works as a shop window dresser, Pete works in insurance.
The pair often hang out together in their spare time and regularly share snaps of their nights out on Instagram.
The Siddiquis
Baasit, Umar and their dad, Sid are back.
Other brother Raza sometimes makes an appearance – with the mum and daughters also occasionally popping in.
The family hail from Derby and have become celebrities in their local town.
The Plummers
Three brothers Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan Plummer from Bristol have appeared on the show since series eight.
The trio film from the comfort of their home in Bristol.
As you might have noticed, the lads are football mad with Tristan formerly playing for Bristol City between 2007 and 2010.
David and Shirley
The married couple from Wales joined the Gogglebox family in 2015.
They have been wed for over 40 years.
When they are not filming David is a cleaner in a factory and Shirley works in retail.
John and Beryl
Joining Gogglebox in 2018 for season 12 was John and Beryl.
Beryl mentions on the show how John retired around 12 years ago meaning that it would’ve been around 2008 when he stopped working.
The pair don’t tend to reveal a lot of details about their lives on Gogglebox.
Abbie and Georgia
Abbie and Georgia joined the Gogglebox family for season 12 in 2018 and are from Durham.
They are famously known for reacting to the John Lewis 2018 Christmas Advert.
They were seen questioning whether the hit track Your Song by Elton John was originally performed by Ellie Goulding or Elton.
The Ven Family
South Londoners Marcus, Mica, Sachelle and Shuggy joined the show in series 11.
Their outgoing personalities and Marcus’ hilarious comments have put them amongst the shows favourites.
Paige and Sally
Paige and Sally are from Birmingham and joined the show as Gogglebox’s latest mother and daughter combo back in 2019.
Paige works as a business development manager while Sally is a carer for the elderly and disabled.
The Malones
When we think of the Malone family, one thing pops to our mind – their never-ending pile of sweet treats on their coffee table.
Mum, Julie, dad, Tom Senior and sons Tom Junior and Shaun watch television from their home in Manchester, however Tom Jr will not be appearing on this year's show.
The family first appeared in series four.
Daniel and Stephen
Long-time Gogglebox viewers will know that Brighton-based Stephen first appeared on the show alongside then-boyfriend Chris Butland-Steed.
Stephen and Chris's romantic relationship lasted only one series, but the pair continued to be friends and critique telly on the sofa together for our enjoyment.
That was until February 2019, when Chris announced he was leaving the show after five years.
Chris was replaced by Stephen's mother Pat (aka mummy Pat) and while viewers took some time getting used to the new pairing, they grew to love the mother-son combo.
Pat was replaced by Daniel at the start of the 2019 series.
The Worthingtons
Alison and her husband George joined the series in series 10 along with their daughter, Helena.
The family, who live in Manchester, were joined by another guest earlier this year after Helena gave birth to a baby boy.
Baggs family
The Baggs are a family of four from Essex.
There is dad Terry, 56, mum Lisa, 50, and sons Joe, 23, and George, 17.
Joe has a fairly big Tik Tok account and works in recruitment.
George is training to be plumber and Terry is a salesman.
