Who is Jane Park, Britain’s youngest lottery winner, and how much EuroMillions prize-money did she win?

BRITAIN's youngest lottery winner Jane Park splashed out on various luxuries after getting £1million but threatened to sue EuroMillions, claiming the win ruined her life.

Today she shared on social media that she had suffered a miscarriage just days after revealing that she was pregnant. Here's what we know.

Who is Jane Park and how much did she win?

Jane Park was just 17 when she bagged £1million in prize money after buying her first ever ticket, making her Britain’s youngest EuroMillions winner.

She has since splashed out on cars, holidays, clothes and plastic surgery.

It is all a far cry from her £8-an-hour job as an admin temp and the two-bedroom Edinburgh council flat she shared with her mum Linda before her win.

But she previously remarked that being a millionaire is stressful.

Speaking to the Sunday People, she said: “I have material things but apart from that my life is empty. What is my purpose in life?”

"I thought it would make [my life] ten times better but it’s made it ten times worse.

"I wish I had no money most days.

"I say to myself, ‘My life would be so much easier if I hadn’t won.’"

What happened with her pregnancy?

Six years after scooping the £1million prize she excitedly shared with followers that she was expecting her first baby.

Wearing a tight grey dress, her hair perfectly curled and makeup applied, she cradled her bump in a picture.

In an interview with the Mirror on October 28, she said: "Seeing the positive pregnancy test was more exciting than seeing the winning numbers on my lottery ticket.

"It's a crazy time but I am so happy."

But just over a week later she was left heartbroken after having a miscarriage.

When did Jane Park start dating Sam Callahan and Jordan Piggott?

The Sun exclusively revealed that Sam Callahan was dating Jane in March.

Sam and Jane found love after they sparked up a relationship over social media.

An insider revealed: “Jane instantly caught Sam’s eye on Twitter and after liking a ton of each other’s pictures they began messaging."

But reports of Sam kissing another girl in front of Jane at a party left her in tears.

In April, Sam begged her to leave him alone, branding Jane as 'obsessive' and wanting to follow him into the Big Brother house.

And it would seem the relationship is in the past as she was spotted getting close with 18-year-old Dundee player Jordan Piggott.

They were pictured enjoying a date at a Tobery Carvery and sharing a kiss in the street after she met the footballer's parents for the first time in Dudley, West Mids.

A pal told MailOnline she is "blissfully happy" with the 18-year-old Dundee player.

Why is Jane Park controversial?

Jane was snapped shopping for a Mercedes, despite facing a possible drink-driving ban.

She was allegedly three times the legal limit when she drove her BMW 1 Series through a McDonald’s drive-thru in Edinburgh in October 2016.

Pals also claim Jane once lost £100,000 in a doomed business venture with gangland boss Mark Richardson.

She also gambles, two years ago winning £12,500 after betting £5,000 on Hibs to win a match.

The outspoken Scottish lass has considered a career in reality TV – after being lined up to appear in Love Island 2017.

Is Jane Park suing Lotto?

The millionaire was reportedly considering suing Lotto and claiming the huge payout had ruined her life.

She believes Camelot should not be allowing people her age to win such vast sums of money.

Camelot insists it has offered “ongoing support” to Jane.

A  spokesman said: “We have been in touch with Jane from time to time since her win to offer ongoing support.

“It is always up to the winners as to whether they want to take up that support.”

Bosses at Camelot say they appointed an independent financial and legal panel to help Jane manage her winnings as well as putting her in touch with another winner who scooped a jackpot at the same age.

What did Jane Park spend her money on?

There have been plenty of luxury indulgences over the years to ease the “stress” of her lifestyle.

She treated herself to a £25,000 BMW, a £17,000 VW Beetle and a £18,000 Range Rover customised in purple in honour of her football heroes Hibernian.

On Twitter and Instagram she showed off designer gear including numerous pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes, which start at £455.

After Jane’s win she quit her job, booked a two-month holiday in Magaluf, bought a chihuahua and also purchased a plush three-bedroom house and second property.

But she is now back in a small flat with her mum after moaning that living alone was “hard work, stressful” because she “couldn’t even make a bed”.

Besides partying with her mates three times a week, she enjoys five-star holidays in the Maldives and the US.

She's also splashed out £4,500 on a boob job, had lip fillers and Botox – however, a bum lift left her fearing for her life after sepsis set in.

Following the death of Leah Cambridge in Turkey, Jane told This Morning hosts Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford about how she woke up swollen all over, before infection set in which left her fighting for her life.

"When I woke up from surgery I was very cold and sore and was told, 'you will come round a bit.'" she explained.

"But when I got up I managed to get up and I was truly swollen form head to toe. I could barely open my eyes, I couldn't look in the mirror.

"I literally thought that I was going to die. I don’t know what was wrong with me and they said to me I’d had a reaction to the anaesthetic."
