Tuesday marked 24 years since the death of Princess Diana and royal editor Robert Jobson joined Simon McCoy and Kirsty Gallacher on the Great British Breakfast to speak about the Princess of Wales’ legacy. The royal expert praised Prince William and Kate Middleton as he noted their actions are “exactly what [Diana] would expect them to do”.

He began: “She changed things for the better with the Royal Family. 

“If you look at William and Kate they’re doing exactly what she would expect them to do.

“I’m not sure what she would make of Meghan and Harry. 

“I think Harry before Meghan was pioneering in spreading the word of what Diana achieved but I think it’s gone a bit pear-shaped since then.”
