Australian pop band 5 Seconds Of Summer are being sued by their former management company for alleged breach of contract.
According to court documents obtained by Billboard, YMU Music claims that the band allegedly refused to pay the management team commissions they were owed for “multiple lucrative deals it negotiated on behalf of the group.”
The deals included a record agreement with BMG valued at $10 million as well as merch deal with the Bravado International Group of $1.5 million.
5 Seconds Of Summer had hired YMU back in February and ended their contract in September.
