Amal Clooney Slips & Nearly Falls While Walking In High Heels On NYC Streets — Pic

This could have been so much worse! Amal Clooney nearly fell the night of Oct. 30 while walking the cobble stone streets of New York City in her high heels.

Amal Clooney, 41, could have taken a pretty rough tumble! The accomplished lawyer was spotted the night of Oct. 30 in New York City where she almost fell on the cobble stone streets. Amal was dressed beautifully for a night on the town, wearing a stunning red, long sleeve dress with a hem that hit just below her knees. The trouble came with Amal’s shoes, a pair of grey suede stilettos, which appeared to get wedged in one of the crevices of the street. Fortunately, Amal was able to salvage the moment, and found her balance before continuing her evening walk.

While the near-slip created a bit of an off night for Amal, the international human rights attorney always looks absolutely amazing. One such time Amal really showed off her incredible style was with her husband, George Clooney, 58, at the Catch-22 premiere on May 7. The power couple wowed the red carpet at the event, with Amal donning an asymmetrical Oscar de la Renta mini dress in a rich shade of forest green. The one-shoulder design and taffeta fabric accentuated Amal perfectly and with her hair styled straight and down with a pair of statement earrings Amal truly looked stunning!

And her famous husband couldn’t be prouder of his wife. George gushes about Amal often, and when he stopped by Ellen on May 9, he gave Amal so much credit in raising their then-23-month-old twins, Alexander and Ella. “They obviously got my wife’s brains – they’re not quite two, and they can count from 1 to 20 in English and Italian,” George gushed to host Ellen DeGeneres of his children and wife. “I’m still trying to do the English part! They’re smart.”

Amal is such an incredibly accomplished woman, not even a cobble stone street can knock her down! While it was an unfortunate circumstance to find herself in — especially in front of cameras — Amal was able to save the moment and kept on walking. We can’t wait to see her, totally balanced, on a red carpet soon!
