Baywatch fans believe that they have cast the wrong Barbie after former star Donna D'Errico posed in a Barbiecore look. The 55 year old stunned as she wore a racy all-pink outfit at her latest shoot.
Donna looked just as good in the new snaps as what she did when Baywatch was in its prime in the 1990s. In the latest images, Donna showed off her impressive figure as she wore a stunning pink Moschino mini dress, which had a fringe at the bottom of the skirt.
Her long blonde hair was parted in the centre and had a slight wave in it as it fell to just below her shoulders. For her makeup, Donna went for a classy look, but keeping with the theme, she went for pink lips and pink eye shadow.
The American actress captioned the photos by saying, "Barbie mania and I'm here for it!" The photo appears to be edited to make the refrigerator behind Donna appear to be upside down.
Fans of the actress were quick to comment on the post, praising her for the Barbie-inspired look. One delighted fan said: "You are and you always will be our favourite Barbie!"
As another suggested: "Would have been better to have cast you in the role." Someone else commented to say: "Now the Barbie looks beautiful…"
"I think they cast the wrong actress…YOU are the real Barbie" said one happy follower. As another pointed out: "If they ever do a sequel to Barbie, you could play her twin sister."
This follower commented on the post saying: "Pure Perfection!! Phenomenal in Pink!!"
Looking at the dress, this fan said: "That is a great dress! Wow!"
Thinking about Barbie's partner in crime Ken, this person said: "Where’s Ken?! Did you go back to blonde? Love it!"
Recently Donna has been speaking out about her haters, focusing mostly on fellow women. She has been focusing on people who think that she is too old to be wearing revealing swimsuits.
Donna has a post pinned to the top of her Instagram page, which has her in a white bikini while she is crouching on a table. The caption on the photo is aimed at those people who leave hate comments.
The model wrote: "Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was “classier than that” and “too old to wear a bikini” and, my favourite, “desperate.
"Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table."
