Beyoncé spends £1,800 on Nandos as UK tour kicks off

Beyoncéhas reportedly spent £1,800 on an enormous order from Nando's, just after she had kicked off the UK leg of her world tour.

According to a receipt – which has been shared widely across Twitter – the takeaway order was simply placed under the name of ‘Beyonce'.

The pop sensation, who performed her second show on UK soil in Edinburgh as part of her Renaissance tour on Saturday, reportedly ordered nearly £2,000 worth of Nando's takeaway food.

The tweet, which features the receipt for the order from Fountain Park’s Nandos, shows an order that consisted of 50 sunset burgers, 30 fino pittas, 30 butterfly burgers, 60 chicken pittas, 20 beanie burgers, and 10 chicken wings.

The receipt for the large amount of takeaway food shows that the whole order came to no less than a whopping £1809.35.

Fans have been quick to comment on the huge order, with one saying: "Beyonce's team using her actual name to order food is SO UNSERIOUS."

While another added: "Beyonce unhinging her jaw to devour her nandos order before her show."

A third said: "Beyonce going for a cheeky Nandos is sending me."

The star, 41, is playing 57 shows all around the world between May and September 2023 and, despite the tour having only just begun, it's already breaking records.

After announcing her tour, Beyoncé became the first female star ever to sell out the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina and is the first person ever to sell out five nights in a row at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The whole tour is projected to make around £1.9billion in total, and is set to leave the Break My Soul singer considerably wealthier.

As part of the show, the super star has also incorporated a series of exciting outfit changes and plenty of complex choreography to ensure that her fans are treated to a truly unique performance, that's set to feature 40 of her songs.

The tour is Beyoncé's first solo tour in seven years and is celebrating her post-pandemic hit album Renaissance.

The 57 date world tour will come to an end on 27 September, 2023 in New Orleans, USA.
