Carly Simon will be honored at a tribute concert to be held at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on March 19.
“The Music of Carly Simon at Carnegie Hall” will be a tribute show honoring the life and work of the singer-songwriter.
The concert will feature performances by 20 artists, whose names have yet to be announced.
As per the tradition, Michael Dorf will be presenting the performers.
All the proceeds from the show will go toward music education programs serving underprivileged youth.
The sale of VIP ticket packages has already started.
Simon released her last album in 2009.
In October, she published a memoir that narrates the story of her close friendship with the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
The book is titled “Touched by the Sun.”
