Denise Welch addresses trolling suggesting she's a 'covid denier'

Loose Women panellist Denise Welch, 62, was reportedly in bed with her 48-year-old husband Lincoln when the intruder got into the grounds of their Cheshire home. According to The Sun, a man has been arrested after police were called.
Confirming the news, the Hollyoaks actress told the publication: “It was terrifying but we can’t talk about it for legal reasons.”
A source added: “Denise and Townley were left really shaken by what happened.
“They started getting unwanted attention which culminated in a man armed with a knife being outside their property.”
The insider has claimed the couple do not know the culprit and have “no idea” why he targeted them.
But, the couple are said to be determined to do whatever it takes to avoid it happening again.
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Denise for comment.
The soap star regularly gives fans an insight into her home and life on Instagram.
Due to coronavirus rules, she is also sometimes a part of the Loose Women panel from her residence.
The mother-of-two last shared a post on her Instagram Story earlier today but has not addressed the incident.
The Hollyoaks actress has spoken out about her experience with online trolls in the past.
At one point, the soap star’s husband tracked down a troll who insulted her on Twitter.
On Loose Women, she explained: “For some reason Lincoln turned detective and managed to find the guy.

“He went through his timeline and found a selfie he’d taken at the wheel.
“Lincoln then got contacted by the guy and he got in touch begging and begging Lincoln to take the photo that he posted of him down off Twitter.
“He said, ‘My wife doesn’t know I do this, I go to the garden shed and I troll people and don’t want my wife and child to know’.”
The couple has been married to her third husband Lincoln since 2013.
The Loose Women star has previously credited her spouse for helping her get through her battle with depression.
She told the Sunday People: “Lincoln looked in my eyes and saw the deadness.
“He was absolutely incredible, especially for someone who has had no experience of mental illness, and remains wonderful to this day.”
She shares two sons, Matthew and Louis, with her second spouse Tim Healey.
Denise was also married to David Easter from 1985 to 1988.
