Up-and-coming television actress and Disney Channel regular Ronni Hawk was arrested early Friday morning in Los Angeles on a domestic violence charge.
According to media reports, the 20-year-old actress was apprehended in the San Fernando Valley area and taken to the Van Nuys jail. There, she was processed and booked on one felony count of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant.
Per TMZ, the Stuck In The Middle star had gotten into a verbal argument with an unidentified man reported to be her boyfriend. At some point, it allegedly turned physical, because cops were called and by the time they arrived, the boyfriend reportedly had “visible injuries including scratches.” After further investigation at the scene, LAPD officers apparently determined Hawk should be arrested, and she was promptly taken in on the domestic violence charge. Bail was set at $100,000; it’s unclear whether Hawk paid it over the weekend, and when (or if) she’s since been released from police custody.
According to The Sun, Hawk has reportedly previously been romantically connected to Miles Fallon. It is not known who the alleged victim is in this instance, however. For what it’s worth, Fallon makes an appearance in Hawk’s most recent Instagram post, published back on July 19 (below):

The young actress found on-air fame and success early in her career, landing roles on both the aforementioned Stuck In The Middle as well as On My Block when she was still just a teenager. More recently, she guest-starred on The CW‘s Legacies and has several other projects currently in post-production.
Disney’s Legal Woes
Unfortunately, Hawk is far from the only Disney Channel star to run afoul of the spotlight (and the law) in the last few years.
Perhaps the most infamous case as of late involves former Mighty Med star Devan Leos, who in December 2018 was arrested after allegedly using his car to run down a homeless person after a dispute at a convenience store. Leos caught a huge break in the case in December 2019, though, when he agreed to plead no contest to an attempted murder charge in exchange for not having to serve jail time.
Back in November of 2019, Chris Tavarez — the actor who played Zendaya‘s boyfriend on K.C. Undercover — was arrested on domestic violence charges, as well. Tavarez allegedly shoved his girlfriend during an argument, causing her to hit her head on something, which led to a concussion.
Former Disney Channel star Adam Hicks, of Lemonade Mouth fame among other shows, was arrested in January 2018 on multiple armed robbery charges after police alleged he’d walked up to multiple people in the San Fernando Valley area, brandished a gun, and demanded money.
Joey Cramer, a former Disney child star from the 1980s, was arrested back in 2016 for his role in allegedly robbing a Scotiabank branch in British Columbia in May of that year.
Whew. Not a great list. And that’s just the last couple of years… Of course, Disney employs a lot of actors and actresses, so some are bound to find themselves in less-than-ideal situations every now and again. But still…
We’ll keep y’all posted on what comes of the charge here against Hawk.
