Baasit Siddiqui took to social media last night to share a photograph of his parents with his adorable daughter Amelia. The Gogglebox cast favourite, who has appeared on the reality programme with his brother Umar and dad Sid since 2013, gave fans a glimpse of his rarely-seen mother in the Instagram offering, with fans requesting to see her on TV.
The television star shared several snaps of the trio online, after trying, and failing, to get a picture of all three members of the family smiling at the same time.
Father-of-two Bassit, who shares son Theodore as well as daughter Amelia with his wife Melissa, said his dad was the only one who managed to smile for the camera on cue.
The small child and her grandparents could be seen posing for a picture in the garden next to a beautiful maple tree.
“I was trying to get a photo of all three of these guys staring at the camera and smiling!” the Gogglebox star told fans via The Siddiqui’s family Instagram account.
“Dad is like a statue with that smile but Mum and Amelia we’re doing it on purpose,” he joked in view of their 6,052 followers.
“Each time one of them would smile the other would look the other way or swap!”
“The Siddiqui ladies are a stubborn and cheeky bunch,” he went on to say.
Instagram followers and fans took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts on the sweet family snap.

A second follower added: “Your mam is adorable, first time I’ve seen her and don’t want to even mention your handsome dad, love your little family.”
“So cute! Tell your mum we want her on gogglebox!” a third fan remarked.
