Following the university admissions scandal involving Olivia Jade Giannulli as well as her mom, former Full House star Lori Loughlin, dad, designer Mossimo Giannulli, and sister, Isabella “Bella” Rose Giannulli, Olivia retreated from the spotlight and took her time re-emerging into the public sphere. She didn’t rush back to her YouTube channel, although she did eventually start uploading again in order to give her subscribers a closer look at her life. However, when Olivia shared a video that was focused on her “‘everyday’ [makeup] routine” in January 2021, she also addressed the fact that she had suffered a few painful injuries to her face.
“I split my lip a little and then I have a bump on my head,” Olivia said in the video, while pointing out her injuries. She also told her viewers that her “nose hurts really bad too” and added a note saying that she chipped her tooth. Ouch! While it looked like Olivia was already on the mend, you’ll still cringe over the super scary way that she injured herself!
Olivia Jade 'barely' remembers what happened to her
When Olivia Jade Giannulli revealed to her YouTube subscribers in January 2021 that she had sustained various injuries to her face, she also used the video to let them know exactly how she had hurt herself. “A crazy thing happened to me last night,” she said in the video posted on January 28. “I ran into the bathroom thinking I was gonna throw up and then I passed out.” Yikes!
The star explained that she had “locked the door” so that her boyfriend, Jackson Guthy, wouldn’t follow her into the bathroom “because [she] was, like, dying!” However, when he “heard [a] big thud,” he tried to get in to see if she was all right. “The door was locked so I was trying to unlock it,” she said. Granted, that’s what Giannulli thinks happened. She also admitted, “It’s so spotty, I barely remember.”
While Giannulli didn’t say why she might have felt sick and passed out, hopefully she has checked in with her doctor to make sure there’s not something more serious going on.
