Inside NTAs afterparty – Injuries, broken heels and stars pose for boozy selfies

The NTAs brought out the great and the good of the TV world.

Inevitably, all the celebs let their hair down for the booziest afterparty as they hit the tiles until the early hours, in London on Tuesday.

It all got out of hand as there were sore injuries, broken shoes and warring stars posing for smiling lift selfies as the glamorous event descended into chaos.

Dancing On Ice's Maura Higgins was left with a bleeding gash on her knee after appearing to have taken a tumble in her steep heels.

The Love Island finalist channelled Kylie Jenner in a sheer lilac number while she walked the red carpet in her towering stilettos.

But the reality bombshell suffered a nasty fall when she rubbed shoulders with her fellow Love Island stars at the drunken afterparty.

Maura got plastered up pretty quickly with an anonymous helping hand at the event.

"Oh FFS," the starlet complained on social media.

This Morning's team put on a united front for a boozed up lift selfie while the reportedly feuding stars awkwardly dodged each other in the confined space.

Phillip Schofield and Ruth Langsford were at opposite ends of the lift after their feud spilled onto the stage at the NTAs.

Ruth awkwardly waved to the camera while Phil snapped the selfie capturing all of the This Morning stars on camera after their awkward clash onstage.

It comes after the presenters didn't look at each other as they made their way up to collect the award for Live Magazine show.

Ruth allegedly lodged an official complaint against Phil back in April last year after he interrupted her live on air during a crossover.

NTAs viewers noticed the "awkward tension" as Phillip made a point of giving Ruth time to say some words, but she did not reciprocate his thoughts.

Thanking the team, Phillip said: "Eamonn and Ruth, your Fridays are fantastic. We love you so much. You should say something I think."

Ruth kept looking forward as she thanked Phillip, who touched her arm, for his kind words.

Phillip then moved aside to let Ruth shuffle past as she picked up the award from Holly Willoughby.

Ruth said: "Thank you so much. Wow, what an achievement. It's an absolute honour for us to go on that show every single day. We love it because we know you love it.

"10 years in a row is an absolutely amazing achievement. It's like a juggernaut we get on air every day. Thank you to everyone on stage."

Elsewhere at the boozy afterparty, Vick Hope had given up wearing her heels after they broke at the party.

The former Strictly Come Dancing hopeful kicked her steep shoes off and held them up while she posed with Maya Jama.

Love Island bombshells didn't miss out on the wild fun as Laura Anderson and Georgia Steel partied all night long.
