After his team stormed to victory at the Champion’s League final on Saturday, 10 June, Jack Grealish' s girlfriend Sasha Attwood posted a heartfelt tribute to the Manchester City superstar.
Following their triumphant performance, which secured a treble victory in the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League, the 27-year-old England international was overwhelmed with emotion, tears streaming down his face.
In a momentous occasion on Saturday night, the club celebrated their first ever triumph in the Champions League by defeating Inter Milan in the final held in Istanbul.
Throughout the historic victory, Jack received unwavering support from his model girlfriend. In a rare display of affection, the model shared a public message for her childhood sweetheart hours before the match kicked off in Turkey.
After reposting a snap of her boyfriend in his blue Man City kit to her 176,000 followers, Sasha then shared another post from the football club's official account and added her own message, writing: “"Come on @mancity [blue loveheart emojis].”
In a post on her Instagram Stories, Sasha delightedly shared a photo of herself and Jack on the pitch mere moments after Manchester City's victory on Saturday night. The model caption the sweet shot of Jack kissing her: "Champions. Beyond proud xx."
Following the win, the England star couldn't contain his emotions and tears welled up during a live TV interview. Overwhelmed by the weight of the accomplishment, he told BT Sport: “I don't know, this is what you work your whole life for, so happy man. I was awful today but I don't care, to win the treble, this group of players and staff are so special.
“Anyone that knows me knows how much of a family person I am and how much I love football and is what I work for my whole life.
“You think back to all the people that have helped you along the way, seeing my family makes me emotional.”
Sasha is often spotted supporting Jack from the side-lines and even flew out to Qatar last year to cheer him on alongside his family as he played for England at the World Cup.
Having been in an on-off relationship since their school days, the pair first met at St Peter's Roman Catholic Secondary School in Solihull and began dating at the age of 15.
Though Sasha and Jack had initially managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, rumours began to circulate about a suspected romance after she was spotted supporting him during England's Euro 2020 games at Wembley.
Sasha has established herself as a successful model and influencer, collaborating with renowned brands like House of Fraser, Pretty Little Thing, In The Style, and Refy Beauty. Notably, she secured an impressive six-figure contract as the ambassador for Boohoo in September 2021. The pair live together in a luxurious high-rise apartment in Manchester, and have an adorable poodle mix pup named Sky.
