James Haskell leads I’m A Celebrity 2019 evictees in raucous beach games

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here 2019 contestant James Haskell, 34, and his fellow jungle evictees were reunited this morning.

The former Rugby Union star, who was the fourth campmate to be voted off the ITV reality show, hit the beach with his co-stars to film a segment for spin off show Extra Camp.

James along with Cliff Parisi, 59, Andrew Maxwell, 45, and Adele Roberts, 40, joined the show’s host Adam Thomas, 31, for a competition on the beach.

James, who showed off his dramatic weight loss on Instagram yesterday following his stint in the jungle, was dressed in a sleeveless white top, black shorts and trainers.

He later whipped off his top – revealing a noticeably slimmer physique.

Radio DJ Adele, who was the first celebrity to leave the competition, wore an outfit not too dissimilar to her camp uniform.

She hit the beach in a pair of red shorts and a black vest top, which she teamed with stripy sandals.

Cliff and Andrew kept cool in casual shorts and T-shirts, and protected their eyes from the sunshine with dark sunglasses.

The four contestants were pitted against each other for a string of races and competitions on the beach.

During one race, Call the Midwife actor Cliff tried to cheat by knocking over his rival James as the foursome sprinted to the finish line.

Pictures also showed the celebrities, who have all grow close during their time together in the Australian Outback, in a heap on the sand.

They also took part in a fun tug of war challenge.

Sportsman James was photographed on one end of the rope while Adele, Andrew and Cliff attempted to beat him with their combined strength.

During his exit interview with Ant and Dec, he admitted he had been challenged in a way he wasn’t expecting and was glad to be out.

He said: “I feel it is time and I got to the time, it is becoming more and more difficult to try and focus on being positive and there are people around you that need you to be positive.”

He went on to say: “I needed a new challenge for myself and the challenge I got I wasn’t expecting. It was more a mental thing, I found the mental side of me, I have a lot to work on, I learned a lot about myself.”
