Jeanine Pirro talks about her suspension from Fox News, rips network as ‘unbelievable’

Jeanine Pirro got honest about her recent experiences with Fox News.

The “Justice with Judge Jeanine” host was caught criticizing her show’s network, admitting Fox News had suspended her, and she is worried she is on thin ice.

The comments came as cameras rolled during the 68-year-old’s Tuesday appearance on Sebastian Gorka’s show on Salem Radio Network. Gorka, a former Fox News contributor, told Pirro between segments he’d love to have her on his show again in the near future.

“We’ll see if they let me. You know, Fox reviews everything. They’re unbelievable,” she remarked, though Gorka had cautioned Pirro earlier, “we’re still live.”

Pirro, who mentioned she had an appearance on longtime Fox News host Sean Hannity’s program Tuesday night, said the network was holding her back from other appearances.

“They are still saying ‘you cannot do Bill O’Reilly, you cannot do Newsmax.’ “

Pirro also admitted the network suspended her.

“You know what? They suspended me,” she said. “They suspended me, and I’m not going to get fired. You know I’m worried that that suspension was the basis to tee up for anything I do wrong, they’ll fire me.”

Pirro came under fire in March for comments she made questioning Rep. Ilhan Omar’s patriotism and hijab. Fox News condemned her remarks and later pulled her show, citing “scheduling matters.”

During her suspension, President Donald Trump came to her defense on Twitter.

“Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro,” he wrote. “The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country. They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well.”

USA TODAY has reached out to Fox News and a rep for Pirro for comment.
