Who is Ken Dodd’s wife Lady Dodd?
Ken and long term partner Anne are reported to have met while performing in a pantomime in Liverpool.

In 2016 when Ken was Knighted, Anne also was awarded the title of Lady.
The pair did get engaged. However, they didn’t get married until two days before Ken’s death.
As the comedian’s death was reported, it was revealed Ken and long term partner Anne Jones had got married in a private ceremony at home after being together for more than 40 years.
They got married at his home in Knotty Ash by a registrar.
Stephen Griffin Ken’s biographer has previously revealed Ken didn’t believe in marriage.
He said: “Marriage could lead to complacency in a relationship, and caused some couples to stop putting in any effort”.
After Ken’s death, Anne gave a statement to the press outside their Knotty Ash house.
She said: “The world has lost the most life-enhancing, brilliant and creative comedian with an operatically trained voice, who just wanted to make people happy.

“He lived to perfect his art and entertain his live and adoring audiences.
“I have been overwhelmed by the love and affection which I have already received from dear friends and the public, and I thank you all.”
Talking about their relationship in a BBC documentary paying tribute to Ken’s life, Anne recalled their wedding day.
Anne said: “We’d always said we’d get married at some time.
“Apparently he was talking to our vicar and asked if there was a way it could be done privately, very quietly.
“Licenses were, done, whatever paperwork was filled. Somehow, it happened.
“He said his vows and I was saying my vows. It was a normal wedding ceremony.
“And we had a blessing afterwards, which was all very beautiful.”
“Obviously, I’m very glad it did, and I think he was.”
