Brilliant plans: Mike Myers brought back his iconic Austin Powers villain Dr. Evil in a cheeky new Super Bowl ad for General Motors
Mike stars in the ad as Dr. Evil himself, while Mindy plays his loyal henchwoman Frau Farbissina and Seth plays their son Scott.
The trio are holding a summit at the top of a skyscraper with Rob’s character Number Two, who cuts a dapper figure in a suit and eyepatch.
Dr Evil gleefully announces he just seized control of General Motors, putting his pinky up to the side of his mouth in a move instantly recognizable to fans.
Meanwhile his co-conspirators are trying to sell him on the idea of an emissions-reducing program – i.e. General Motors’ Ultium EV Platform.

All in the family: Mike stars in the ad as Dr. Evil himself, while Mindy plays his loyal henchwoman Frau Farbissina and Seth plays their son Scott
Hollywood heartthrob: The trio are holding a summit at the top of a skyscraper with Rob’s character, who cuts a dapper figure in a suit and eyepatch
Scott, who is holding a baby in a sling, begs his father to consider the idea ‘for my son,’ whom Dr Evil decides to call ‘Baby Me.’
The joke was a nod to Dr Evil’s longtime henchman in the movies Mini-Me, played by Verne Troyer, who tragically committed suicide by alcohol poisoning in 2018.
Meanwhile in the ad Scott insists that the baby’s name is Kyle, prompting Dr Evil to reach for a button that will presumably neutralize him.
Frau Farbissina has to repeatedly swat Dr Evil’s hand away from the button, letting out a schoolmarm shriek to warn him off.

Baby mine: Scott, who is holding a baby in a sling, begs his father to consider the idea ‘for my son,’ whom Dr. Evil decides to call ‘Baby Me’
Uh oh: Scott insists that the baby’s name is Kyle, prompting Dr. Evil to reach for a button that will presumably neutralize him
Nope: Frau Farbissina has to repeatedly swat Dr. Evil’s hand away from the button, letting out a schoolmarm shriek to warn him off
‘You must help save the world first, then you can take over the world!’ she says – only for Dr. Evil to repeat the sentiment nearly verbatim as if it were his own idea.
When Scott tries to point out he swiped the idea from Frau Farbissina, Dr. Evil begins taunting him, bringing him to the verge of tears.
Although Scott insists that Dr. Evil is ‘acting like a child’ and ‘can’t push my buttons anymore,’ his father continues hamming about and clearly gets under his skin.
Frau Farbissina bellows at him: ‘We will reduce our carbon footprint!’ and Dr. Evil finally agrees to go ‘all electric.’

Such fun: Although Scott insists that Dr. Evil is ‘acting like a child’ and ‘can’t push my buttons anymore,’ his father continues hamming about and clearly gets under his skin
Hopeful: As the rest of the characters scamper towards a fleet of waiting electric vehicles, Scott cheerfully bounds up behind them with the baby
Letdown: ‘Not you, Scott,’ Dr. Evil sneers, leaving his son crestfallen as the villain says to the infant: ‘Bye bye, Baby Me’
Cute as a button: Only then does the audience see just how closely baby Kyle resembles his grandfather – even putting his pinky to his lips
