***This contains spoilers for Stranger Things season three***

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown spellbound us with her performance in season three and now she’s keen to share with us a glimpse of behind-the-scenes.

As we come down from the last season, Millie, 15, took to Instagram to share a sweet shot of her still in character as Eleven, alongside Dacre Montgomery, 24, who played Billy Hargrove.

Following one particular scene at the mall, Millie is seen laughing alongside Australian actor Dacre as they’re surrounded by the rubble of the set.

‘One of my favourite people I’ve gotten to work with,’ she wrote. ‘Always so considerate and kind to me while filming some of the toughest scenes I’ve ever filmed.

‘Mate, you gonna go snatch those awards okurrrr.’

The two are in great spirits with is a nice departure from the context in which the shot was taken.

In the series came a rather emotional fight scene, if they exist, when the teens discover Max’s brother Billy has been taken over by the Mind Flayer.

What culminated was an intense fight scene with Eleven using all her powers – read, all the bloody nose – to finally throw Billy through a solid brick wall.

That tension continued on as they attempted to rid Hawkins of the demodogs that had taken over the town and forms its own army of zombies, per se.

Admiration between Millie and Dacre is totally two-way, after the actor spoke highly of his Stranger Things co-star.

‘We would run through the mall and land on our mark and scream at each other until we both cried and cried,’ he told The Independent.

He added: ‘I like to give 150 per cent every time I’m on set, and she’s the same way. We just scream at each other and cry and talk about things.’

It comes after Millie admitted she was ‘so not okay’ with her breakup with Mike (played by Finn Wolfhard).

In a fan Q&A on Instagram she revealed what she thought about the on-screen couple splitting up as she told fans: ‘Okay, I’m going to be real with everyone right now, I was not happy.

‘When I read the first two episodes, thank God Eleven and Mike are together, they can be cute, they can… you-know-what. They can kiss and they can be a couple, which is what we all wanted.

‘Is that not what we wanted? Because that’s what I wanted. I was sitting there like “guys, we all know what they want and that is to be together”. Why can’t they be together? Because this bloody monster keeps getting in the way.’

When it was revealed to Millie that Eleven was going to break up with Mike, she was seriously unimpressed with the way the storyline had gone.

She added: ‘I was like “hmmm, ok, well here’s the thing… no.” I didn’t say that but I was so, so not okay with it.

‘Because obviously I want them to be together, I mean, she’s so in love with him and he’s so in love, it’s such a cute little storyline and they’re so cute together.

‘And he loved her, no matter what she looked like, no matter what she said, no matter what she did, he still loved her and that is just the perfect boy. To love you for whoever you are.

‘I was really excited for them to be together and then when they broke up, I was like “okay, when are they gonna make up because they need to.”’

We’re still not over it, to be honest.

Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.
