Perrie Edwards rocks son Axel in heartwarming video from Little Mixs Confetti Tour

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has been seen in an adorable video rocking her eight month old baby Axel backstage at the much-anticipated Confetti Tour which the band are currently performing.

The pop sensation, 28, was captured on film by her hairstylist Aaron Carlo backstage at Little Mix's Confetti tour on Sunday 1 May in Cardiff as she rocked her son whilst sporting biker shorts and a sweater.

The band announced in December that they would be taking a break to her son Axel in August 2021 and she shares her son with her footballer partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The hairstylist captioned the adorable Instagram video: "'Got dinner AND a show today."

The video showed a rare glimpse of baby Axel who was born around the same time as bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock's twins entered the world.

Perrie's cute moment shared with her baby comes just after she shared a selection of photos of her and her son in matching tracksuits.

She shared the snaps on her Instagram as both mother and son wore matching Little Mix black tracksuit hoodies as Axel watched his first ever concert with his mum whilst protected by large blue noise-cancelling headphones

Her caption read: "We were in matching Little Mix tracksuits but in true baby style he s**t everywhere. But here we are! Watching his first ever show."

Fellow Little Mix stars Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared their love for newborn Axel. Leigh-Anne commented: "Such a dream."

Jade Thirlwall wrote: "Too MUCHHHHHH."

Former X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke commented with series of heart eye emojis to share her love for Perrie's newest edition to her family.

The much-awaited Confetti tour is the first time the group have performed a full tour as a group of three after former bandmate Jesy Nelson officially left the girl group in December.

Following the tour the group will be going their separate ways, at least for a while.

They previously tweeted: "We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix.

"It's been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.

"We can't thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much."

Some fans feared the worst but the girls made sure to reassure fans that the announcement of the break was not a permanent split up of the much-loved band.

They added: "'We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We've made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can't wait to make so many more.

"We're sisters and we'll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever, see you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie."

Most recently, Perrie's fellow bandmate Leigh-Anne reportedly made a 'swipe' at her former bandmate as she is believed to have sang the line 'legend of the three divas' instead of the 'legend of the four divas' from their track Gloves Up in a move to acknowledge that Jesy had left the band.

It has been reported that Jesy is keen to put the past feuds with her bandmates behind her, a source told OK!: "Jesy doesn’t like that her leaving the band has been dragged up again.

"She had her reasons for leaving the group and it’s a chapter that she’s wanting to finally close."
