Prince Harry has revealed racism is a “large part” of the reason he and wife Meghan Markle left the United Kingdom.
In a new bombshell clip, 36 year told Prince Harry is seen explaining to Oprah Winfrey his decisions behind leaving the country he was born and raised in.
He was asked by Oprah if he left the UK because of racism. To which he took a long pause and said: “It was a large part of it.”
Prince Harry then explained that he was warned at the Sentebale by someone who is friends with many newspaper editors not to go ahead with the speech as the media will “destroy his life”.

The Sentebale fundraiser event was where the Prince made his emotional speech about his decision to step back from his role as a senior member of the royal family in January 2020.
Harry went on to explain that he asked the person at the event to elaborate, to which the anonymous person told the Duke of Sussex the UK is “very bigoted”.
The Prince said he was surprised and insisted the “UK is not bigoted” but “the UK press is bigoted”.
Meghan Markle’s husband explained how the unknown person reiterated his point to which Harry disagreed with.
He added: “But, unfortunately, if the source of information is inherently corrupt or racist or biased then that filters out the rest of society.”
It comes after Meghan Markle revealed there were “concerns” amongst someone in the Royal Family about the colour of her son's Archie's skin.
During the interview, the Duchess of Sussex explained that her son, who was yet to be born at the time, would “not be a prince or princess” and he “wasn’t going to receive security”, which is different from royal protocol.
Both Meghan and Harry refused to name the person who raised the “concerns” about the colour of their child’s skin.
Meghan and Harry have sat down with Oprah Winfrey to speak about their experiences with the Royal Family after the pair stepped down from their role as senior royals.
