Today is Meghan Markle’s birthday so, IDK, you should probably wander around wearing a tiara in her honor. No one will side-eye you, it’ll be fine! The Duchess is celebrating her 38th at home with her son Archie and Prince Harry, who just delivered the cutest and most personal message to her.
Taking to the Sussex Royal Instagram account, Harry posted a picture of Meghan looking casually radiant, and wrote “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure!” And he signed the message “Love, H,” which MY HEART.

FYI, Meghan *isn’t* having some wild party this year, apparently as a direct result of the major backlash around her lavish baby shower. “Frogmore Cottage will host a celebration for Meghan’s birthday,” a source recently told The Sun. “The Clooneys clan will be in Villa Oleandra on Lake Como and the Sussexes will not want to be seen enjoying more of their lavish hospitality after the PR disaster backlash post the US baby shower.”
The outlet also reports that “It is unlikely that the Cambridges will be invited to Meghan’s 38th birthday on Sunday,” but don’t read too much into that. The Duchess is probably just keeping the day super low-key, and as a reminder she and Kate have a close relationship these days, with a source telling Hello Magazine (via the Daily Mail) that “Despite reports of a rift, they are family and have a really lovely friendship. Their relationship has certainly evolved over time and they have become closer since Meghan’s wedding.”
