Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford aren't backwards at coming forwards about their sex life.
From 50 Shades of Grey antics to Eamonn's desire to do it in unusual places, the chemistry is still very much alive for the This Morning hosts who met in 1997 and married in 2010.
Indeed, Eamonn, 59, once joked about their active sex life, revealing: “I love Ruth deeply but also I fancy her.
“How could I resist? No wonder I look tired all the time – that woman has me run ragged. I go to work for a break.”
For Ruth, 59, she's said her husband's insatiable admiration for her body helps keep the fires burning.
"Eamonn is my biggest fan and always makes me feel really sexy,” she previously told The Mirror.
“When I think I’m at my slimmest he thinks I’m too thin. He likes me curvy – he loves boobs, bottoms and legs. I’m really lucky because it would be awful to have a man who commented on me piling on the pounds."
Eight years after the birth of their son Jack, the couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at grand 19th century Hampshire hotel, The Elvetham, on June 26, 2010.
But for one time only the night didn't go off with a bang, with Ruth admitting their roll in the hay wasn't their 'finest one'.
"I was enjoying my wedding so much I didn't think about it. I got carried away dancing all night," she said.
"I then I thought I really ought to because it's our wedding night.”
But the couples' other sessions are much saucier judging by Ruth's take on the S&M-themed 50 Shades of Grey books.
"I said when I read the first one, who hasn’t done a bit of that?" she once told her shocked Loose Women co-hosts, adding: "A little erotica, I think introduced between a couple…"
For Eamonn, he says he 'led a very sheltered Catholic life' before meeting Ruth and has been open about what floats his boat.
On one occasion, their son Jack was mortified when they started discussing morning sex on national TV.
It all went wrong when Love Island's Ovie Soko appeared on This Morning as a guest chef and said he would be making some 'cheeky toast'.
"Do you ever get me cheeky toast in the morning?" Ruth asked her husband, who quickly took it up a notch.
"I’m looking for that before you say I want my breakfast," he said. "Like clockwork. Like clockwork my wife is in the morning."
Their son – who was watching in the studio – hung his head in his hands as his dad continued: "I say, 'Any chance of some cheeky toast?' and she goes, 'No, I’m starving I want my breakfast.'"
Meanwhile, when Eamonn needed a hip replacement in 2016, he blamed Ruth and their hearty sex life.
He told The Mirror: “I’m facing a two week double hip operation, she wore them out, she’s got to help wear them in.”
Ruth added: “The doctor says no hanky panky and no strong exercise.”
They famously hosted Eamonn & Ruth’s 7 Year Itch in 2017 which explored ways to inject spice into a marriage, including a visit to a bondage dungeon.
But for Eamonn, he revealed he prefers a more pedestrian approach.
"You create a mood as the evening goes on. The fire is burning, the wine is flowing, the music is playing…" he said on the show.
Their sex life sadly took a hit when Ruth went through the menopause, but she credited Eamonn with keeping the flame alive with his unfailing desire.
“I still feel sexy but a lot of that is because my husband makes me feel sexy," she told The Sun's Fabulous magazine.
“I don’t walk around all day going, ‘I’m too sexy for my skirt’ but Eamonn loves me and will tell me I’m gorgeous.”
She continued: “If you’re tired and you’ve put on weight that’s not conducive to feeling like a sex kitten, but you can have a healthy sex life after the menopause.”
