Shannon Beador is proud of her transformation ahead of ‘RHOC’ return

Shannon Beador is getting ready to dance on tables, and she’s proud of it.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star revealed that she droppd 40 pounds, and now she’s really living her best life on the show’s fourteenth season.

“I realized after my separation and divorce that I can stand on my own two feet,” Beador told Page Six on Tuesday ahead of the premiere. “I can take care of myself and my family, I’m gonna be okay. So that was kind of one hurdle. And then it came to the physical appearance, and I would always lose half of the 40 pounds and then I’d gain it back. I just finally said, ‘This has gotta stop. You need to make the commitment and just keep following through this time.’ So I did, and I’m proud of myself that I have.”

But regardless of how great she feels, the mom-of-three is keeping it real.

“I have been going out a lot lately, but it’s okay that I’ve gained a little bit of weight because I’m happy. I’ll get back there again. I mean, as women at the age that I am at 55, weight is a struggle for so many people. You just have to make the commitment, but I want to create a balance. I want to eat healthy some days but I want to have fun too. I want to enjoy my life.”

Beador finalized her contentious divorce from David Beador in April after Season 13 stopped airing. She first filed for divorce in 2017 after 17 years of marriage and a cheating scandal.

She celebrated their split and getting her mojo back with a cast trip to Miami that was filmed for Bravo.

And as for what she’s looking forward to the most this season, Beador said it’s all the laughs.

“I’m looking forward to the fans seeing me smile and laugh and have an amazing amount of fun. I really do, I laugh the entire season,” she said. “There are bits of drama dispersed in there, but somehow, someway, I always came out laughing. Who would have thought! After five years of kind of hell!”

Season 14 of the Bravo show premieres on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
