Strictly: Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe eliminated
Comedian Ellie Taylor first rose to fame when she replaced Atomic Kitten’s Jenny Frost as the host of BBC Three’s Snog Marry Avoid in 2012.
The show gave “fake obsessed” women makeunders to transform them into “natural beauties”.
Although the show became one of BBC Three’s top shows and ran for six seasons, Ellie says she doesn’t think it would be made today.
She told Express.co.uk: “It was off its time wasn’t it, it wouldn’t happen today. At the time it was a great show to get, and I really enjoyed doing it.
“I don’t think the feminist values stand up particularly well today but the landscape shifts, doesn’t it? And so do we. But at the time I felt very fortunate to get such a fun little gig.”

After the series ended in 2013, Ellie appeared in a number of huge TV shows including Mock The Week, The Mash Report and performed at Live At The Apollo twice.
In 2020, she began starring as Sassy in the Emmy-winning Apple TV series, Ted Lasso, opposite the likes of Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham.
Last year, Ellie reached new audiences when she made Week 10 of Strictly Come Dancing with her professional partner Johannes Radebe.

It comes as Ellie has teamed up with Alpro to encourage the nation to break up their mundane breakfast habits and put variety back into their diets.
In research from the brand, a fifth of Brits admitted to rushing and oversleeping in the mornings and it is estimated that we eat the same breakfast 203 times a year.
Ellie said: “As a self-proclaimed brekkie fanatic, I know that what I eat and what I consume online during the morning can set my mood for the rest of my day. The research showed that too many of us are getting off to the wrong start each day, which is why I’m on a mission alongside Alpro to help Brits shake up their breakfast routines.”
Ellie Taylor is working with Alpro, the plant-based pioneer, to encourage Brits to switch up their breakfast routine to help set themselves up to be the best versions of themselves throughout the day.
