Moving to another country amid a global pandemic is probably not an ideal situation for many of us, but Zac Efron is reportedly making a big move — to Australia.
People reports the actor, who has been "renting a house minutes from the beach," in Australia's Byron Bay, has been house-hunting in the area, seemingly putting down roots in the country.
"It really seems he plans on staying in Australia permanently," a source told People.
The move may be, at least in part, thanks to his rumored new girlfriend Vanessa Valladeres, who is based in Byron Bay. People reports he met Valladeres in June while she was working at the Byron Bay General Store, and that the two are "having fun" together.
"They started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together," a source told the outlet, adding that "She spends a lot of time at his house."
Earlier this week, Efron and Valladeres were photographed holding hands.
Perhaps Efron can befriend fellow Byron Bay dwellers Chris and Liam Hemsworth.
