He may have crashed out of the World Cup in the quarter-finals with his Portugal teammates, but Cristiano Ronaldo may have been the winner of Christmas this year as he was gifted a £250,000 Rolls-Royce by his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
Georgina, 28, took to Instagram to boast to her 42.9million followers about the lavish gift she had purchased for her 37-year-old boyfriend.
In a video posted to social media, the model is seen in a stunning red dress as she walks outside with Cristiano and his children – Cristiano Jr., 12, Alana, Eva, and Mateo, all five, and Bella, eight months – following behind her.
The forward is then clearly surprised to see the convertible sat with a huge red bow on and parked alongside his many other cars on their driveway.
Cristiano posted a snap of his new car to his own 523million Instagram followers, writing ‘Obrigado meu amor,’ which translates to ‘Thank you my love.’
In another clip from Georgina’s Christmas video, a room is seen filled with Louis Vuitton bags ready to be opened.
The children are also seen unwrapping bicycles, while Cristiano Jr. was gifted a car gaming chair.
Giving a glimpse at the family’s dining arrangements, Georgina is seen walking past the sprawling table, filled with elegant crockery and candles.
2023 looks set to get off to an exciting start for Cristiano as it has been reported that he is close to signing a £175m-per-year deal with Saudi Arabian team Al Nassr following his dramatic exit from Manchester United last month.
It has been reported he had been holding out for more offers, preferring to play in the Champions League if possible, but there have been no offers from European clubs.
The Times reported earlier this week that Ronaldo’s toxic exit from Manchester United and being dropped by Portugal at the World Cup has put off European clubs from making a move for him.
The likes of Chelsea, Napoli and Bayern Munich had been mooted as possible destinations for the legendary striker, but they have all backed away.
Ronaldo has also reportedly been offered a deal to play in the Qatar Stars League, but the proposal from Saudi is much more lucrative and Al Nassr looks set to be his next club.
It had been reported that Ronaldo had already agreed a deal to move to Al Nassr earlier this month, but asked whether that was correct while Portugal were still in the World Cup, he said: ‘No, that’s not true — not true.’
