After teaming up for Fall 2020 for fresh interpretations of the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95, Denham and Nike have joined hands once again to collaborate on the ever-classic Blazer Mid ‘77. The Amsterdam-based imprint designed this with intentions of keeping much of the model’s original elements such as its leather uppers and suede overlays in-tact, only bringing in modifications signature to its brand towards the mid-foot.
Like many vintage Blazers, the leather uppers arrive with clean white backgrounds and come prepped next to shaggy forefoot overlays dyed in a light grey. This new installment’s most enticing features are present inside the Swoosh which has been materialized with Denham‘s indigo kimono fabric and accessorized with Sashiko stitches that formulate cross-like patterns throughout. Bold red accents pop up on the lace loops nearest the ankle, as well around the perimeter of the aforementioned Nike check. Elsewhere up top, one can notice that a light beige drips atop the tongue, heel panels and lace tips, the latter of which feature’s the European company’s scissor insignia.
More classic vibes are seen underneath as the midsole and outsole sees the traditional white with gum combination.
The raffle for these is now open via the Denham website through February 10, and note that the pair will retail for €180 (approx. $217 USD)
Elsewhere in footwear, President Obama’s Nike Hyperdunk PEs are being listed for $25,000 USD.
