DOXA Reintroduces Stainless Steel Army Dive Watch

DOXA has reintroduced the Army watch to its collection after the success of a ceramic limited edition earlier this year.

The watch was first introduced in 1968 as a black-cased dive watch with sand-colored dial, designed with the Swiss Army’s elite military divers in mind.

Two new versions of the 42.5mm 316L stainless steel DOXA Army are being added to the Swiss brand’s offering. The first is an all-steel model with sand-colored dial and black ceramic bezel insert, the second pairs a bronze bezel – DOXA’s first time using the material – with hunter green ceramic insert.

DOXA dropped a 100-piece black ceramic limited edition Army in partnership with retailer Watches of Switzerland back in April.

The watches offer 300m water resistance, unidirectional bezel with Super-LumiNova numerals and sapphire crystal glass.

The DOXA Army is offered on either stainless steel ‘beads of rice’ bracelet or rubber straps in either hunter green or black. Both options includes a NATO camouflage strap.

The two new DOXA Army models are available now via DOXA retailers with prices starting at $2,090 USD.

Elsewhere in watches, Rolling Stones Licks logo takes over Nixon’s collection.
