'Dune: Part Two' Premiere Date Could Be Delayed To 2024

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two may not be hitting theaters until 2024.

According to reports, the Warner Bros. Film Group is “strongly considering” delaying the highly-anticipated sequel to next year due to the ongoing writers and SAG-AFTRA strike. Conflicting sources tell Variety that Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. — the two co-producers of the film — need to come to a consensus on a new release date, and that although there have been no official discussions yet, the length of the strike remains to be seen.

Reps for Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment have not commented.

Dune: Part Two is currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 3 and will star Zendaya, Timotheé Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Léa Seydoux.
