Saturday Night Live is obviously known for its crazy-good guest stars: at this point, it’s basically a rite of passage for the Hollywood elite. Now that SNL revealed its Season 45 hosts and musical guests, it’s clear that the NBC comedy show still boasts A-list talent — and that goes for musicians and actors alike. As usual, the show has a knack for mixing noteworthy new talent with seasoned, beloved entertainers, and we really couldn’t be more excited for the line-up they’ve prepared.
Let’s start with the season premiere, airing on September 28: True Detective‘s Woody Harrelson will host, and “Bad Guy” singer-songwriter Billie Eilish will perform. The season continues strong with stars from some of the year’s most beloved TV shows: Fleabag creator and lead Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Stranger Things‘ David Harbour are both slated to host in the first half of the season. Harbour’s episode, airing October 12, will feature “Señorita” singer Camila Cabello as musical guest. Waller-Bridge’s October 5 episode will have the extra-special treat of Lover‘s Taylor Swift, who Forbes just declared as the world’s top-earning entertainer.
Also hosting an episode is Kristen Stewart, the former Twilight star whose upcoming Charlie’s Angels is one of the most hotly anticipated reboots of the 2019-2020 season. She’ll be hosting on November 2: meanwhile, SNL announced that Eddie Murphy will be hosting the December 21 episode this upcoming season, marking his first return to the show since 1984.

SNL announced their line-up in a typically irreverent way: by posting a series of photos of index cards tacked to cork board with their stars’ names on them. “We highly recommend swiping through this carousel,” the caption reads, and the cards include both names and dates for each star. We’re pretty sure this line-up has something exciting for just about everyone — but if you’re still (somehow) disappointed, keep in mind that the second half of the season has yet to be revealed.
