'Full House' cast: Where are they now?

_

It’s hard to believe Bob Saget is gone. While in the midst of a comedy tour, the beloved star died in an Orlando, Florida, hotel room on Jan. 9, 2022 — 34 years after the sitcom that made him a household name, “Full House,” debuted on ABC in 1987. The series centered around Bob’s Danny Tanner, a broadcaster who’s raising three daughters following his wife’s death in a car accident. His brother-in-law Jesse and best friend Joey move in to help… and the rest is history.

After “Full House,” Bob Saget focused on comedy and received a Grammy nod for his stand-up special “That’s What I’m Talkin’ About.” His 2014 memoir, “Dirty Daddy: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian,” became a bestseller. Bob also starred on Broadway, played himself on HBO’s “Entourage” and was the narrator and voice of future Ted Mosby on “How I Met Your Mother” on top of hosting “America’s Funniest Home Videos” from 1989 to 1997. Bob, who has three kids from his first marriage, wed TV host Kelly Rizzo in 2018. He unexpectedly passed away at 65 in his Ritz-Carlton Orlando hotel room on Jan. 9, 2022, while in the midst of a comedy tour.

After “Full House,” Candace Cameron Bure didn’t slow down. She became a fixture in Hallmark TV movies, including a turn as Aurora in the film adaptation of the novel series “Aurora Teagarden,” and starred on the gymnastics drama “Make It Or Break It.” Candace co-hosted “The View” from 2015 to 2016, starred on the “Fuller House” reboot starting in 2016, competed on “Dancing With the Stars” in 2018 and wrote four books. Married to former NHL hockey player Valeri Bure since 1996, Candace has three children: daughter Natasha and sons Lev and Maksim.

Jodie Sweetin played precocious and chatty middle sister Stephanie Tanner on “Full House.”

_

After “Full House” wrapped in 1995, Jodie Sweetin graduated from high school and attended college at California’s Chapman University. Professional gigs included appearances in TV movies and shows like “Hollywood Darlings,” but she struggled to adjust to life after the successful sitcom. In her 2009 book “unSweetined: A Memoir,” she revealed that she began drinking alcohol at 14, after “Full House” ended, and detailed her struggles with drug abuse. Jodie wed for the first time when she was 20 and now has two daughters, Zoie and Beatrix, after three marriages and three divorces. In 2016, she competed on season 22 of “Dancing With the Stars,” finishing in sixth place, and the same year reprised her role as Stephanie Tanner on “Fuller House,” which ran until 2020. In 2019, Jodie and her best friend, Celia Behar, launched the parenting podcast “Never Thought I’d Say This.”

Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen took turns playing the youngest Tanner, Michelle, starting when they were just 9 months old and ending when they were 8.

_

Post-“Full House,” Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen were fixtures on magazine covers, T-shirts, posters, fragrances and more — they even had their own dolls. The pre-teen icons starred on the short-lived ABC sitcom “Two of a Kind” in 1998 and movies like 1995’s “It Takes Two” before starting their own production company in the late ’90s and headlining a slew of TV movies and direct-to-video releases. In 2012, Mary-Kate and Ashley said they were retiring from acting to focus on careers in the fashion industry. They co-founded the luxury fashion brand The Row, lifestyle brand Elizabeth and James and more affordable fashion lines Olsenboye and StyleMint. The sisters, who are members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, also co-authored a book called “Influence” that features interviews with fashion designers who’ve inspired them. They were the only original cast members who declined to participate in the series reboot, “Fuller House.” Keep reading for more on the twins’ lives since leaving the Tanner nest…

Ashley Olsen was one-half of the duo that played sweet, sassy and sometimes spoiled Michelle Tanner.

_

Ashley Olsen has maintained a super low profile since she retired from acting, focusing on her fashion ventures with sibling Mary-Kate Olsen. She’s made headlines for her love life, having been romantically linked to celebs including Jared Leto, Lance Armstrong and Justin Bartha, along with director Bennett Miller and financier Richard Sachs. Since 2017, she’s been quietly dating artist Louis Eisner. They stepped out together publicly for the first time in September 2021.

_

Mary-Kate Olsen, who’s younger than twin sister Ashley Olsen by 2 minutes, shared the role of Michelle Tanner.

_

After “Full House,” Mary-Kate Olsen struggled with an eating disorder and in June 2004 announced she’d entered treatment for anorexia nervosa. The competitive equestrienne dated David Katzenberg (son of DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg), photographer Maxwell Snow and artist Nate Lowman before tying the knot with Olivier Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, in 2015. But she filed for divorce in April 2020 and the split was finalized in 2021.

John Stamos played charming, laid-back musician Jesse Katsopolis, better known as Uncle Jesse. His main obsessions were his hair and Elvis Presley, but his priorities changed after he married Becky and they welcomed twins during season 5.

_

John Stamos’s post-“Full House” career included copious roles on popular TV shows including “ER,” “Scream Queens,” “Necessary Roughness,” “Glee” and “Grandfathered.” He also produced and appeared on the reboot “Fuller House.” John — who plays drums with the Beach Boys — married model Rebecca Romijn in 1994, but they divorced 10 years later. In February 2018, he wed actress Caitlin McHugh, and the couple welcomed their first child, son Billy, a few months later in April 2018.

_

Lori Loughlin played Rebecca Katsopolis, better known as Aunt Becky. She joined “Full House” after becoming Danny’s co-host on “Wake Up, San Francisco.” Becky later married Jesse and gave birth to twins Nicky and Alex.

_

Lori Loughlin starred on the short-lived WB series “Summerland” and played Debbie Wilson on “90210” for several years before reprising her “Full House” role on “Fuller House.” In recent years, Lori made headlines for her involvement in a national college admissions bribery scandal. She and her husband, clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli — pictured here with Lori outside federal court in Boston — paid $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California as crew team recruits despite their never having participated in the sport. In 2020, the couple pleaded guilty to the charges and Lori served two months in prison before her release in December the same year. (Mossimo was sentenced to five months.) Their two daughters are Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade, an influencer and beauty YouTuber who competed on “Dancing With the Stars” in 2021 and finished in eighth place.

Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit played Alex and Nicky Katsopolis, the mischievous twin sons of Jesse and Becky.

_

Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, who played Alex, largely stayed out of the public eye after “Full House” ended — except for a two-episode appearance with his twin brother on “Fuller House” in 2016. He’s gone on to become an Emmy-winning foley artist for shows and films including “Game of Thrones,” “Lost in Space” and “Furious 7.”

_

Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit, the younger twin by 21 minutes, played Nicky. After “Full House” ended, he served as a firefighter in Georgia for four years and has since embarked on a career as an audio engineer. His credits include foley mixing for shows like “Castle Rock” and “FBI.”

_

Dave Coulier played aspiring comedian Joey Gladstone, Danny’s childhood best friend who moves in to help raise Danny’s three daughters. Joey was known for lightening the mood with his impressions and jokes and for his catchphrase: “Cut. It. Out.”

_

Since “Full House,” Dave Coulier has had a prolific career doing voice work on shows including “Scooby and Scrappy-Doo,” “The Jetsons,” “Muppet Babies” and “The Real Ghostbusters.” He also had roles in several Disney Channel movies, starred on reboot “Fuller House” and has continued to perform stand-up comedy. Dave, a private pilot who owns and flies his own plane, has a son, Luc, with first wife Jayne Modean. In 2014, Dave married photographer and producer Melissa Bring.

_

Andrea Barber played Kimmy Gibbler, D.J.’s best friend and next-door neighbor.

_

After “Full House” ended, Andrea Barber earned an English degree from Whittier College and a master’s degree in women’s studies from England’s University of York. She interned at the United Nations in Switzerland and became an assistant to the director of Whittier College’s Office of International Programs. Though she left acting behind, Andrea said yes when she was offered the opportunity to star on “Fuller House” in 2016. Andrea, who penned a 2017 essay for InStyle about her struggles with anxiety and depression, has two children, Tate and Felicity, with ex-husband Jeremy Rytky.

_

Scott Weinger played Steve Hale, D.J.’s high school boyfriend until he went off to college and they broke up (though he surprised her by coming back to be her prom date during the “Full House” series finale).

_

Scott Weinger, who voiced Aladdin in the 1992 Disney film of the same name, also voiced the character in “Aladdin” sequels, video games, TV shows and more after “Full House” ended. Scott also has written and produced shows including “90210” and “Black-ish” and came back as Steve on the reboot “Fuller House.” He married writer-producer Rina Mimoun in 2008; they welcomed son Mischa in 2009.
