The upcoming work is set to be directed by Academy award-winning director and producer Martin Scorsese, the mind behind films like Taxi Driver, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Irishman and more.
The forthcoming movie has been set in motion by Apple, which owns the Grateful Dead catalog, and will see Hill and Scorsese as co-producers. Screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, in addition to Rick Yorn of LBI Entertainment, have also signed on to the project, according to Deadline.
