Juice WRLD and Nipsey Hussle To Posthumously Feature on Maroon 5's Upcoming Album

Maroon 5 shared the tracklist for their seventh studio album, Jordi, on Monday, which notably features posthumous appearances from Juice WRLD and Nipsey Hussle.

Juice, who died in December 2019 after suffering a seizure at the age of 21, appears on “Can’t Leave You Now,” while Nipsey, who was fatally shot at 33 in March of that same year, appears on a remix of the 2019 hit “Memories” with rapper YG.

Slated for June 11, Jordi also includes Maroon 5’s collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Beautiful Mistakes,” as well as newly announced tracks featuring the likes of Stevie Nicks, blackbear, H.E.R. and Jason Derulo.

This album marks Juice’s latest feature since his death in 2019. Previously, the late rapper has appeared on several tracks, including Polo G‘s “Flex,” G Herbo‘s “PTSD” and Internet Money‘s “Blastoff.”

Nipsey has also featured on a multitude of tracks since his passing, including DJ Khaled‘s “Higher,” Big Sean‘s “Deep Reverence” and The Game‘s “Welcome Home.”

The tracklist arrives one month after the album’s announcement, when Adam Levine took to Instagram to share that the project was named in honor of the band’s late manager Jordan Feldstein, who died after suffering from a blood clot in 2017.

“We built this thing together,” Levine wrote in the caption. “A piece of me will always be missing. The loss is tragic in ways I’m still learning how to cope with. All I can do is keep him with me and honor him in the best way I know how.”
