A new NBA season is here and the league’s top stars are set to bust out their best basketball kicks on the hardwood. One is the Dallas Mavericks‘ captain Luka Dončić who will showcase a variety of new colorways of his Jordan Luka 1 silhouette. After appearing with a classic “Bred” arrangement, the Slovenian hooper’s signature is now being reformatted with a Next Nature build, meaning that sustainable materials were summoned to form most of its construction.
This latest iteration comes fitted with a mixture of brighter neutral tones and louder accents. The former can be seen through a soft tan hue that dresses up the ribbed toe boxes and side panels as well as the overlays that sit adjacent to the throat and the heels. Pops of a bold teal hue adorn Luka’s embroidered logos on the tongues while the heels are outfitted with teal backdrops and yellow stripes. Underneath all of that, the midsoles are readied with milky backdrops, seafoam molds, speckled patterns across the mid-foot and lower heels and stark black Jumpman logos.
No release info has been announced for these just yet, but Nike and other retailers will likely receive them in the coming months.
For other footwear news, Jordan Brand expanded its “25 Years in China” collection with the Air Jordan 12.
