In a new teaser, Netflix announced that the fourth and final season of Ozark will premiere on January 21, 2022. The first seven episodes will land on the streamer on the aforementioned date, and the second seven-episode half of the season will arrive later in the year.
“There’s no turning back now. Ozark Season 4 Part 1 premieres January 21, 2022,” Netflix writes on its social media channels alongside the sneak peek video, which elusively sets the scene for the upcoming installment.
Ozark follows the Byrde family’s journey away from their everyday suburban Chicago life to their risky criminal enterprise in the Ozarks, Missouri. Set in the present day, the series explores themes including capitalism, familial dynamics and survival through the lens of a seemingly normal American family.
The upcoming season stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Lisa Emery, Felix Solis, Damian Young, Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothenberg, John Bedford Lloyd, Joseph Sikora, Bruno Bichir, CC Castillo, Katrina Lenk, Bruce Davison, Ali Stroker and Veronica Falcón.
Chris Mundy will once again assume the roles of showrunner, writer and executive producer. Bateman, Mark Williams, John Shiban, Patrick Markey and Bill Dubuque also serve as executive producers.
