Following the campaign release for the new and wander x Salomon XT-Slate, the Tokyo-based brand founded by former ISSEY MIYAKE designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoki Mori has unveiled an official look at now-released collaboration.
Expanding its presence in the outdoor hiking footwear market, the new iteration of Salomon‘s XT-SLATE comes shortly after its Wood Wood collaboration. The two brands continue to build on their partnership, having collaborated on various designs since 2019. The and Wander x Salomon XT-SLATE arrives in a clean iteration and features white, embossed waffle uppers that appear to feature a mountainous rocky trail. The shoe comes with a quick lace system, making wearability and adjustability easy for the wearer. The shoe also utilizes Salomon’s original “CONTAGRIP” technology that gives the shoe grip and durability for different types of terrains and movements for outdoor activities.
As of writing, a few pairs are still available on and wander for approximately $396 USD.
