Reebok and Pyer Moss have reconnected to present a new addition to their ever-evolving Experiment 4 Fury Trail sneaker line.
Back in 2020, Pyer Moss founder Kerby Jean-Raymond was named Reebok’s Vice President of Creative Direction, and since then, various iterations of the Experiment 4 have been unveiled. For example, some standout iterations have come in the form of the “Old White” edition and the “Emergency” that came with neutral and flashy shades of grey and orange.
Now, the sneaker has been dropped in a bright green colorway, but more specifically, it features hues of “Celadon,” “Sushi Green,” and “Storm Glow.” The shoe appears to be one of the silhouette’s vibrant editions, however, it is still designed with the same overarching back story that taps into facing adversity, expressing success and the emotional processes that go into footwear design.
For the overall design, the Experiment 4 is designed with a rubberized leather mudguard as well a as two-layer tongue which remains the stand-out and most unique feature of the creation. Molded TPU shroud is used across the integrated lacing system, while a velour lining is used for a soft feel. Additionally, an EVA midsole is used for lightweight cushioning and a rubber trail outsole is added for increased traction and durability when exploring uneven terrains. Rounding off the design, the customary Reebok by Pyer Moss branding can be spotted on the lace shroud and heel tab.
You can take a look at the new Experiment 4 iteration above and it is available on the official Reebok website now for £200 (approx. $240 USD).
