A new year means new kicks, and for Spring/Summer 2021, Saucony is bringing the heat in the form of a trio of updated takes atop its classical Grid Azura 2000.
Displayed here are three new variations of the retro runner, each one deviating significantly in terms of color palette. First on the roster is the silver colorway. This is perhaps the biggest eye catcher of the bunch as all of the overlays come treated with iridescent shimmers that gleam with multi-colored vibrance from every angle the light hits. Underneath, the mesh materials are dialed to a slightly darker shade of grey to match up with the rope laces and liners.
Next up is the lighter-toned iteration which is predominantly hued with a tan complexion. Grey trimming makes its presence felt across the mesh forefoot, rear and lower halves of the gradient mid-foot window. Further contrasts arrive by way of the faded black notes distributed to the branded logos, white laces/midsoles and the gum bottoms.
Last on the list is the dark navy offering. Suede navy overlays are offset with charcoal grey mesh that rests underneath, as well as thinner mesh layers seen towards the forefoot, heels and mid-foot which are given a white exterior. “S” logos are styled with a light wash denim skin, while the shoe laces and tongue branding are presented with angelic touches. Down under, the clean Grid-loaded sole units are designed with bright white midsoles and gum bottoms.
Peep a further look at each option here above, and expect Saucony to drop these in the coming weeks.
