As the Creative Director of a burgeoning brand, Ohad Seroya has his work cut out for him. Positioning his eponymous label, SER.O.YA, amongst the milieu of noteworthy design entities, he’s aiming to turn up the heat for Pre-Fall 2022 with a tropical-inspired collection.
SER.O.YA’s way with knits is deconstructed and delicate, and provides a form-fitting silhouette for its wearer. For PF22 those designs arrive in saturated colors from bright yellow, powder blue, wheat and cinnamon brown, while soft hoodies (with matching cotton shorts), distressed denim cut-offs, silk button-ups and relaxed trousers also make an appearance in the collection. And in addition to menswear, a bevy of paired womenswear offerings are available as well.
Reflecting on the island flare that went into constructing his recent collection, Seroya says, “For Pre-Fall 2022, we embark on a journey across the deep blue. Inspired by the nautical waves of nature, pieces are designed with an escape state-of-mind.”
“Never sacrificing comfort for style, we add an aquatic twist to elevated wardrobe essentials,” he adds.
Launching in June, SER.O.YA’s new PF22 collection will be available on its website.
In other news, Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2023 show held a science-fiction element at its core.
