Following early rumors back in February, Supreme is now gearing up to open its expansion into South Korea. Taking to Instagram, the uniquely New York streetwear imprint shared an inside look at Supreme Seoul ahead of the official opening.
Supreme Seoul will be opening in Sinsa-Dong, located in Seoul’s upscale, modern center Gangnam-gu, and serves as Supreme’s latest flagship location in Asia.
The retail experience features a simple exterior marked by a Supreme Box Logo placard, while the interior expresses a clean two-tone design. The interior is marked by the usual racks, T-shirt display, and hanging skate decks, accented by a collage wall, bullet hole motifs, and graphic murals. Finally, the space is completed by a hanging sound system and a large acrylic encapsulated money stack at the center.
According to reports, the opening of Supreme Seoul will be accompanied by an exclusive opening Box Logo T-Shirt and Hoodie. Both the Box Logo T-Shirt and Hoodie are emblazoned with a photo of mugunghwa, hibiscus syriacus, also better known as the Korean rose, the national flower of South Korea. The flower serves as a national emblem with Korea compared poetically to the flower in the South Korean national anthem. The image is also underscored by the address of Supreme Seoul.
Take an inside look at Supreme Seoul opening August 19 and a first look at the accompanying Box Logo T-Shirt and Hoodie below.
