The Original 'Pokémon' Intro Gets Remade With Stock Footage

Continuing to recreate beloved television intros with stock footage, YouTuber Matthew Highton remade the original opening for Pokémon with royalty-free videos and graphics.

Apparently, it only took one day but the remake pretty much captures every scene of the “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” scored opening. Although the scenes are not exactly accurate, various animal and spherical objects are used to represent Pokémon and Poké Balls. While clips of friends serve as stand-ins for Ash, Brock, Misty, Team Rocket and more.
