A photo of a woman's engagement ring has attracted a lot of attention online – but not because of her jewellery.
The image shows her wearing the rock on her ring finger, which has a tattoo visible underneath, as well as jewellery on her middle and index finger.
It was shared to the 'That's It, I'm Ring Shaming' Facebook group, but members were more interested in talking about her statement nails rather than the ring, as reported by the Daily Star .
The woman is sporting very long, pointed, dark blue acrylic nails, one of which has gems embedded in and another has been decorated with a marble effect.
It was uploaded with the caption: "Found it in one of the groups I’m in.
"Should also be in a nail shaming group I think (they are glue on sets that she buys and uses super glue herself)."
It attracted 20 likes and more than 30 comments, but not everyone agreed with the post, as one wrote: "I like the nail colour and the marble effect."
Other weren't so accepting of the look, as a second commented: "Oh Lord she should put her hands in her pocket and then keep them there forever."
Another simply added: "Is she a cartoon witch?"
It's not the first time a nail design has drawn attention this week, after a woman paid £35 for luxury ombre nails at a salon – but the final result has been slammed as 'looking like dog nipples'.
Serina Carmen, 25, and her sister spent hours picking out the perfect set of nails, finally opting for a subtle nude to black ombre.
But it didn't turn out exactly as they had expected, with Serina's sister comparing the blunt transition between the colours to 'a flamingo beak with pink feathers'.
