Argos is doing two toys for £15 – including Lego, Peppa Pig and LOL Surprise

ARGOS has launched a two for £15 toy sale and it includes big brands like Lego, Peppa Pig and LOL Surprise.

The most expensive toys in the sale cost £13 so the maximum you could save is £11 in the deal.

The cheapest toys included in the deal cost £3 but you would only get the savings once you hit the £15 mark.

So if you paid for the most expensive toy that costs £13 and combined it with the cheapest £3 toy, you'd save £1.

There are more than 300 toys on the sale but remember though, it's only worth it if you're going to use £15 worth of toys – otherwise you're better off just buying the one you want and spending less cash.

The deal is available in stores and online, although the retailers' coronavirus measures recommends that to reduce your time spent in stores your pay online before collecting it in a branch.

Argos only offers click and collect service which is free or its fast track delivery costs £3.95.

You can find your nearest store using the branch locator tool here.

We take a look at our top picks in the deal to see if prices are as good as they sound:

Chad Valley Bubble Lawn Mower, £10 – buy now

The Chad Valley bubble lawn mower is battery operated and blows out bubbles when it's pushed along.

It comes with 118ml of bubble solution but the manufacturers warn that it is not appropriate for children aged three and under.

We couldn't find the toy available to buy anywhere else, apart from Amazon Market Place where it will set you back a huge £25.

You can save money on an unbranded bubble lawn mower from Smyths Toys where a similar version costs £8.

LEGO Speed Champions McLaren Senna Model Toy Car, £13 – buy now

Kids' into cars will love the challenge of building a miniature McLaren sports car – and it will keep them entertained while school's out.

We've had a look on price tracker website PriceHistory and found that Argos stocked the same toy back in September last year for £8.50 – £4.50 cheaper than it is now.

The same Lego car costs £12.99 at JD Sport so you're only getting a bargain at Argos if you purchase it with another toy in the two for £15 deal.

Peppa Pig flocked chair, £11 – buy now

This comfy kids chair is ideal for your young one when they're watching telly or reading a book – as long as parents' have enough puff in them to blow it up.

We checked on Pricehistory and found that the same chair has been sold for far less over the years – the cheapest it's been was in May 2016 when it dropped to £5.99.

But it's been stuck at £11 since July 2018 and its £2 cheaper than what it costs on eBay.

LOL Surprise Large Art Set, £10 – buy now

Unlock your child's creative side with the LOL Surprise large art set, which costs £10 outside the deal.

We couldn't find the same set cheaper to buy anywhere else, although you could save cash on a similar LOL Surprise stationery set on Amazon that costs £4.99.

Barbie Dreamtopia Mermaid Doll Assortment, £10 – buy now

Choose from one of four different Barbie mermaid designs that come in a range of magical colour themes with two-toned hair.

The price tag at Argos is the cheapest we could find – the next cheapest is £14.99 at onbuy.com where it costs £14.99.

If you can't decide which one to choose, you can save £5 when you pick up two in the Argos deal.

Hot Wheels Monster Truck Twin Pack, £10 – buy now

Keep the kids entertained during the school summer holidays with the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Demolition Doubles.

They come in sets of two and are designed to be smashed and crashed into each other.

Back in August last year, Argos stocked the same toy for £6.50 although since September last year it's stayed at £10.

We couldn't find the same toy available to buy anywhere else, although you can buy single trucks for £7.99 from CoolShop.co.uk.

Earlier this month, Argos slashed the price of hundreds of toys by up to 75 per cent in a massive clearance sale.

Boots has also recently cut toy prices – here shoppers share pictures of their bargain hauls.

Some bargain hunters are using the July deals as an opportunity to stock up on Christmas presents for this year.
