LEFTOVER Brighthouse stock, including TVs, fridges and washing machines are being flogged via auction for hundreds of pounds cheaper than high street prices.
Sun researchers found scores of bargains from the defunct rent-to-own firm, which collapsed in March, on sale via auctioneers John Pye.
Of course, product prices can vary at auction but we've picked out some of the best deals to give you an idea of the bargains that are being snapped up.
Some of the best deals on offer include a Hoover American Fridge Freezer – costing £900 via major retailers such as Amazon – which was sold for £249 including fees.
Caversham Finance, administrators for the chain are looking to raise funds from the sale of 20,000 retail units from 230 shuttered stores.
Other bargains include a Samsung 55 inch Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV for just £184 compared with £429 if purchased via Argos.
And a Hoover Washing machine was sold for just £68.62 despite costing a whopping £600 if bought from Marks Electrical.
A Whirlwind K5 Kick Electric Scooter was snapped up for £96.62 – normally sold for £250 direct from the manufacturer.
Finally, a Delonghi Elette Cappuccino Top Coffee Machine was auctioned off for the bargain price of £249.66 despite being advertised for £529 with ao.com.
The weekly public auctions are taking place throughout September at five hub sites across the UK – including Chesterfield, Nottingham and South Wales – and will continue until all 20,000 items are sold.
The option to bid online for an item is also available.

Buy stolen goods – but it's legal
Some police forces have set up their own official eBay shops to sell stolen goods. MoneySavingExpert has a good guide and list of them. While others use Bumblebee Auctions to sell goods seized by criminals.

Don't forget eBay is an auction website. For the last 25 years the website has sold millions of items. Although, you can set up sales to "buy it now", rather than entering a bidding war.

Potential buyers are warned the items are sold as seen without any warranty or guarantee unless otherwise stated – and not subject to a rent to own agreement with BrightHouse.
Auctioneers at John Pye also advise punters to inspect any goods they are looking to buy in person before buying although any damage to items is clearly marked.
Brighthouse used to charge customers up to five times more for items on weekly repayment plans.
A price cap was placed on rent-to-own firms last year, following a campaign by The Sun to Stop The Credit Rip-Off.
BrightHouse was pushed into administration back in March by the coronavirus crisis.
The rent-to-own firms was already struggling to stay afloat before lockdown due to a surge in compensation claims over irresponsible lending.
In August, it reopened seven of its stores as part of a trial to chase cash from borrowers who can't pay online.
