Burger fans across the UK will be thrilled to learn that the fast food restaurant is launching a brand new range of flavours – including four brand new burgers.
The Katsu Curry range will be on sale in participating restaurants from Tuesday March 8 and features a Japanese-inspired twist on fan-favourite menu items.
The Whopper and Chicken Royale will be remade as the Katsu Chilli Whopper and Katsu Royale alongside two meat-free, plant-based and vegan options.
If you decide to place an order you can tuck into a Katsu Chilli Whopper which is topped with cheese and a rich katsu curry sauce and garnished with crunchy pickled slaw, crispy onions and chilli sauce, while the Katsu Royale boasts crispy onions, mayo, katsu sauce and a crunchy pickled slaw.
The Plant-based Katsu Chilli Whopper includes Burger King’s signature Plant-based Whopper patty with chilli sauce, crispy onion, pickled slaw and katsu curry sauce while the Katsu Vegan Royale hosts a Vegan Royale burger, with katsu sauce, pickled slaw, crispy onion and a signature vegan mayo.
The entire yummy range is served up in Burger King’s trademark golden bun and finished with a sprinkling of sesame seeds.
And, to launch the new range with a bang foodies can claim a free second burger with every burger they buy from the Katsu range on the Burger King app from March 4 to March 7 (just before the collection launches in stores you’ll just need to use the BOGOF coupon at checkout).
The Katsu Chicken Royale and Katsu Vegan Royale will set you back £6.29 alone or £8.29 as a meal.
Meanwhile the Katsu Chilli Whopper Double and Katsu Plant-Based Whopper Double will both cost £7.29 alone or £9.29 for a meal.
Today is the last day when you can get a second burger free with an order of one of the katsu burgers on the Burger King app – so if you're keen you'll need to hurry!

Katie Evans from Burger King UK said: “We know Katsu curry is one of the nation’s favourite flavours, so we can’t wait for people to try these twists on our classic Whopper and Royale.
"We’re promising new specials that max on flavour, with vegan and vegetarian options that taste almost identical.”
The Katsu range is available until September 2022 so fans will need to order via the app or head to their local restaurant quick to get a bite of the action while the sandwiches are in stock.
