Influencer shares candid body snaps she tells fans you dont need a thigh gap

Influencer Bree Lenehan has shared another inspiring post with her fans.

The Australian social media star is known for her stirring body positive messages.

And she's done it again, as she told fans that they 'don't need a thigh gap or abs'.

Bree shared an uplifting message on her Instagram page alongside posed snaps of herself compared to 'real' pictures.

In her first photo, the brunette beauty was seen sucking in her waist and sticking out her bum while in orange gym wear to give the illusion of the 'perfect' body.

However, in the right-hand photo, she relaxed to show the 'real' her – with her tummy and cellulite on show.

Bree then shared more similar photos as she zoomed-in on her curves to show her 543,000 followers that not all is always what it seems.

Captioning the post, she wrote: "In 2022, we’re putting an end to unrealistic beauty standards.

"No one needs a thigh gap — depending on bone structure, some people have them, some people don’t.

"You don’t need a flat tummy — having fat on your body is vital for your health.

"You don’t need abs to be happy in your skin.

"You don’t need to remove your cellulite. Or to only eat “clean” food. Or to eat less.

"Or to wear baggy clothes that cover your softness. Or to hide your blemishes."

The influencer continued: "I feel like we all relate to AT LEAST one of these things and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I’m sorry society, the media and other people’s opinions have made you believe there’s something wrong with you. There isn’t.

"Isn’t it beautiful how different we all are?

"No matter your shape, size, colour, gender, features or personality. You deserve to live happily in your skin. You deserve to live a life that is so full of all the things that make you happy, instead of spending each day at war with yourself.

"Please don’t punish yourself for having things that 95% of the population have and require to have a healthy, functioning body!!!

"You are bloody amazing and all I want is for you to enjoy this week without being held back by your body image or any negative thoughts you might have around food / exercise / wearing certain outfits, etc."

Fans were loving the photo and message, as the post racked up more than 27,000 likes.

One exclaimed: "Yessssss it’s beautiful how different we all are!"

While another added: "This made my whole day, thank you Bree."

A third chimed in: "You are what we need in the world."

And a fourth pledged: "I am going to be kind to my body always!"

The post comes after Bree hit headlines last week for showing what models look like when they 'breathe out' in photos taken two seconds apart.
