Jameela Jamil says Piers Morgan’s “campaign of lies” against her almost drove her to suicide last year.

“I almost killed myself a year ago because of Piers Morgan’s relentless campaign of lies and hatred against me last February,” Jamil, 35, tweeted on Tuesday. “I’m glad I’m still alive today for many reasons.

“Watching him leave GMB today is right up there and has me feeling,” she wrote along with a gif of herself posing fiercely on a red carpet.

“The Good Place” star’s revelation came after Morgan resigned from his position at ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” following a heated argument with his co-star Alex Beresford over Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“May we NEVER have to watch minorities have to go on mainstream news and have to *defend* their right to be treated with dignity and respect… ever again. All while being screamed over by this man. @GMB,” she tweeted with a gif of Morgan.

She also retweeted a news story of Morgan’s exit, writing, “OH MY GOD IS IT MY BIRTHDAY AGAIN?! I hope @alexberesfordTV replaces his role. What a gent!”

Jamil, 35, and Morgan, 55, have gone after each other publicly in the past.

As Page Six previously reported, they got into a vicious twitter feud last year over Caroline Flack, who died by suicide.

“Piers using a dead woman who I was friends with, as a weapon to try to create further harassment for me as I’ve JUST explained publicly that last week I felt suicidal… is why he is this industry’s most problematic. My criticizing a *show* did not aim any hate at Caroline,” she tweeted at the the time.

He responded, writing, “Delighted to see Jameela Jamil has miraculously found the strength from her myriad afflictions to brand me a ‘bullying parasite.’ This is such a valuable contribution to the #BeKind movement & I wish her well with her continued recovery from Hypocritical Twerp Syndrome.”

Jamil has been outspoken for her compassion towards Markle, whereas Morgan has been a harsh critic of the former “Suits” star.

Morgan quit “Good Morning Britain” shortly after he walked off set during a heated discussion on Meghan and Prince Harry’s Oprah interview.

“I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle,” co-host Beresford said. “You’ve made it so clear a number of times on this program, and I understand that you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off. Has she said anything about you after she cut you off? She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. And yet you continue to trash her.”

Morgan then walked off-set, calling his co-star’s words “diabolical.” He later tweeted that he was just “annoyed,” so he “went for a little cool-down, and came back to finish the discussion.”

But hours later, Morgan stepped down from his position on the show.

He has since doubled down on his opinions on the royal couple, saying that he doesn’t believe Markle’s bombshell claims against the royal family.

“On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK,” he tweeted Tuesday evening. “Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions.”

During the Oprah interview, Markle claimed someone in the royal family had “concerns” over her baby Archie’s skin color and that the Palace did nothing to help her when she was experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Markle reportedly lodged a formal complaint against Morgan after he accused her of lying and betraying the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth II has since released a statement on Markle and Harry’s sit-down, saying,

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

While Jamil slammed Morgan for bashing Markle, Sharon Osbourne defended his right to share his opinion.
