There is no doubt about it, Colin The Caterpillar is THE staple birthday cake – it doesn't matter if you’re turning eight or 80.
After all, who doesn’t left munching on the caterpillar’s chocolatey feet and face? Our mouths are watering at just the thought of eating a slice.
Marks and Spencer has taken note of our adoration for Colin and created a Christmas makeover to help make the most wonderful time of year that bit more delicious.
The Christmas Colin is decorated with candy canes, snowflakes, presents and holly which are all made from chocolate.
Colin is even wearing red shoes and even a little Father Christmas hat to really get into the festive spirit. It looks so cute and delicious we just can’t deal.
If you’re already dreaming of getting your hands on the Christmassy Colin, you will have to wait a while because the cake won’t be available until around late October to early November.
Christmas Colin is slightly more pricey than his original friend, however, and will cost £10 rather than £7 – but it’s for Christmas, so, surely that’s a good enough excuse to splash out?
Other fab new items you can expect to see on Marks and Spencer’s 2019 Christmas menu includes a Cherry and Chocolate Ice Cream Gateau, Christmas Gin Smoked Salmon and Plant Kitchen No Pork Pigs in Duvets. This calls for us to invest in some stretchy leggings for Christmas Day.
The first products in the range will be available to buy in-store and online from Thursday 3 October 2019.
